Visit Virginia Beach

The Atlantic Ocean and the famous beach resort town of Virginia Beach are about an hour away. With 35 miles of coastline including the Chesapeake Bay and the ocean coast, 3 public beaches and an amazing boardwalk, Virginia Beach offers coastal charm year-round. And there's plenty more than sand to enjoy, Rudee Inlet offers fantastic restaurants, para sailing, fishing charters, paddle boarding
rentals and more.

Discover Norfolk

Norfolk is home to the Virginia Zoo where extensive renovations have made it a very popular destination. The Norfolk Botanical Gardens lie adjacent to the Norfolk International Airport and offers 155 acres of 40 themed garden delights and over 5 miles of walking paths. If you’re in the mood to stroll one of the hippest neighborhoods around, the Ghent district is just a few minutes from downtown and hosts antique shops, coffee houses, breweries and shopping.

Experience Richmond

The Capitol of the Commonwealth of Virginia embraces both old and new. The Capital, designed by Thomas Jefferson, and The Edgar Allen Poe Museum offer insights into the past. Drive into the future at the Richmond International Raceway where you can become a NASCAR driver for a day. With diverse restaurants, shops and events, there are endless opportunities to experience Richmond.

Explore the Peninsula

Explore all that the Peninsula has to offer just a short drive from the resort! From Newport News Park with 8,000 acres to enjoy plus two fresh water reservoirs and 30 miles of hiking trails to a relaxing day at Buckroe Beach in Hampton there are endless ways to enjoy the outdoors. Hampton is also home to The Virginia Air and Space Museum highlighting flight and NASA space travel and sits adjacent to a quaint waterfront village with shopping and dining to end a wonderful day of exploring.

Washington D.C.

An easy day's outing can be enjoyed in Washington D.C., and King's Creek Plantation offers a bus tour is you don't want to venture out on your own. Please inquire at the Front Check-in Desk or ask our Concierge about the tour availability.
