Regency Room Revelry
Finish off the year in the living, breathing 18th-century city, where history never gets old! Visit the Regency Room for their New Year’s parties in Colonial Williamsburg. Join the cast of the Rockefellers as they celebrate the changing years, Roaring 20s-style!
The Regency Room’s chefs and service staff will host their annual Regency Gala, which includes a six-course gala menu, paired with a selection from the 350-bottle award-winning wine list, followed by a midnight Champagne toast with live entertainment. Celebrations begin at 8:30 pm, $250 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations are required!
The Regency Room will also be hosting the Regency’s New Year’s Eve Dinner. This event will not be quite as upscale as the Gala, but is still a fun and festive experience you won’t soon forget! Guests are encouraged to dress to the Roaring 20s theme or don elegant evening wear. This event also offers a five-course dinner with paired wines and is available for $145 per person, plus tax.

Bobby BlackHat New Year’s Blues Spectacular
Visit the beautiful Kimball Theatre located at Merchants Square for Bobby BlackHat New Year’s Blues Spectacular! This will be an evening of toe tappin’, finger poppin’ and hip shakin’ blues, featuring some of the finest blues musicians in the region.
We love this idea to ring in the New Year in Williamsburg! PLUS, you can purchase a VIP ticket for early admission and preferred seating. General admission costs $25, VIP costs $35. Tune in for a night of rhythm and song you don’t want to miss!

Hogmanay at Hennage Auditorium
Come celebrate Hogmanay (New Year’s) with John Turner and Kelly Kennedy and ring in the New Year in Williamsburg— Scottish style. Guests can hear and sing local songs, and celebrate Scotland’s traditional music. There will be talented performers from 2:30 to 3:30 pm on New Year’s Eve!

A Running Start into the New Year
Kick start your resolutions with a New Year’s race at the Hair of the DoG 5K & Children’s Run! Whether your goal for 2020 is to find new family friendly activities, explore volunteer opportunities or to simply run more, Hair of the DoG is the perfect opportunity to begin!
There’s a little something for everyone at this New Year’s race. There will be categories for a competitive 5K race, a 5K walk, fun and festive wear, and a kids’ fun run. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a designated charity! Come out to get your blood flowing and feel good about the start of 2020.
All 5K runners will receive a race t-shirt, finisher medal, post-race refreshments, craft brews from Billsburg Brewery and Amber Ox and can enjoy a festive post-race awards ceremony. Kids’ Fun Run participants receive a finisher medal and post-race refreshments! All participants and volunteers are treated to a festive post-race party with delicious treats, fruit, coffee and beverages.
