As we get back into our work/school routines, life can start to feel a little crazier. Balancing your family, jobs and hobbies makes it hard enough to plan what you’re having for dinner, let alone plan a vacation.
We believe vacation time is important! Work-life balance is essential to a healthy work environment and to help reduce stress and prevent future burnout. With more hectic schedules, we want to take some of the weight off your shoulders for arranging travel plans! Here’s a handy guide for your next trip to Williamsburg:
How long of a trip should I plan?
The duration of the trip is entirely up to you! Whether you’re looking to explore for a week at leisure, or you’re just desperately needing a weekend getaway, there are so many activities for you to choose between.
We recommend when you’re planning your trip, make your list of “must-sees” to determine how long you think your stay should be. If your bucket-list is pretty steep, you may need a few extra days off.
That being said, Williamsburg has wonderful perks in every season, so if you can’t fit everything in one trip– you can always visit again!
How do I plan a vacation with a big group?
We know another important aspect about time away from work is that you have an opportunity to spend time with your family. However, planning trips for groups, especially with different ages and interests, can make coordinating activities all the more complicated. It is important to find activities that are safe and suitable for kids and engaging for everyone involved. Finding options that fit all of these requirements can be stressful, which kind of defeats the purpose of a vacation, right?
Despite these challenges, Williamsburg is an amazing destination for families. You can experience everything Williamsburg has to offer for different ages and interests.
With living-history museums, amazing thrills, exquisite dining and outdoor adventures, there’s something fun for everyone!
